*Discontinued* Spectrophotometers • Spectrophotometer Model 830 (230V)

Available in three models, these digital spectrophotometers offer flexibility, sensitivity and reliability, yet each has its own niche. With a continuous spectral range of 330-999nm, five switchable stray light filter are built in to eliminate the inconvenience of exchanging filters. The 8nm narrow spectral bandwidth (5nm for model 870) provides high resolution and optimal accuracy. Featuring a large, versatile sample compartment that fits both round tubes (12-13mm dia.) and standard square cuvettes, a unique “auto zero” function automatically zeros your blanks. The combination of narrow bandwidth and less than 0.1% stray light (typical at 340nm) produces photometric linearity of 1%. Supplied with serial RS-232C and printer port (optional on model 830), these spectrophotometers connect with a computer or external printer.

Model 830
An economical, but versatile choice, this model features signal processing controlled by a microprocessor. The easy-to-read 3.5" LED display and auto-zero push-button (100%T/OA) makes setting of 100% TRANS and 0.000 ABS an easy job. Easily make your own filter and wavelength selections. With built-in stray light filters, the RS-232C and optional printer interfaces provide external data output.

Model 850
This unit offers the same features as model 830 with added convenience. A concentration mode allows you to read the concentration directly from the unit, eliminating operator errors associated with hand calculations and conforms to GLP. A larger 4.5" digital LED allows easy viewing of large concentration and factor values. Decimal key permits a choice for decimal placement and the factor mode permits you to trace day to day application variations. Comes complete with built in calibration standards and RS-232C and printer interfaces.

Model 870
For even higher resolution and performance, this spectrophotometer offers all the same features as models 830 and 850, but with additional upgrades. Featuring a 5nm spectral bandwidth and 30 user-programmed test modes, the generous 20 x 2" display provides a clear LCD wavelength readout. Offering automatic filter and digital wavelength selection, this model provides built-in performance verification.
