Convenient, disposable filter funnels contain Whatman brand filters. The 25mm diameter filter can be used in evaluation of processed proteins in TCA precipitation or binding assay procedures and can be easily removed for further analysis or culturing. The unit is composed of medical grade polypropylene, compatible with most solutions.
Available with glass microfiber, anion and cation exchange filters as well as cellulose paper and nitrocellulose membrane.
Chemical Resistance
The disposable filter funnels,with the exception of those containing nitrocellulose membranes, can be used with most organic solvents. All are compatible with aqueous solutions. Caution should be used when working with strong acids or strong bases in any of these filter funnels.
