A unique manufacturing process provides you with fast flow rates combined with extremely high loading capacity even for fine particles down into the submicron range! These filters are completely binder free and will withstand temperatures up to 500°C,
so you can utilize them for your gravimetrics analysis involving ignition.
GF/A: 1.6µm Particle Retention - Offers fine particle retention and high flow rate, as well as good loading capacity.
GF/B: 1.0µm Particle Retention - Three times thicker than GF/A with higher wet strength and significantly increased loading capacity.
GF/C: 1.2µm Particle Retention - Slightly more retentive than GF/A and 934AH. Combines fine particle retention with good flow rate.
GF/D: 2.7µm Particle Retention - Considerable faster in flow rate and overall filtration speed than cellulose filter papers of similar particle retention.
GF/F: 0.7µm Particle Retention - This high efficiency filter retains fine particles down to 0.7µm. It has a very rapid flow rate and an extremely high loading capacity.
Grade 934-AH
The fine particle retention of this popular grade is superior to any cellulose filter of similar speed and is capable of high retention efficiency at high flow rates. The loading capacity, like all glass microfiber filters, is high. Grade 934-AH is used for a wide range of laboratory applications. It is most frequently used in water pollution monitoring techniques for suspended solids. Grade 934-AH also finds significant applications in cell harvesting and liquid scintillation counting techniques.
Multigrade GMF 150
Manufactured from 100% borosilicate glass microfibers, this filter is binder free and unique in its construction: a coarse layer on top of, and meshed with a fine layer. This filtration technique allows for higher particulate loading capacity, faster flow rate and extends the life of the filter.
